Well... I don’t think it was the servers (this time anyways)... I think their “update” broke something and now GTA 5 won’t start AT ALL

Is there a way to play GTA online without people blowing me up? Solo mode? Invitation only mode? On the PC version most of these are non-present. The favorite hacking these days is to just blow the snot out of people minding their own business.
Passive mode they still can blow your property up (your car, helo, whatever is on the scenery while you are not in it).
